Services for Royce Jeanne (Moore) Shrader, 85 of Ardmore will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shrader passed from this life on Aug. 22, 2009, in Ardmore.
She was born February 28, 1924, to Roy A. and Mabel (McConnell) Moore in Ranger, Texas. She attended school in Healdton and married Chick Shrader on March 29, 1942, in Healdton. The couple began their lives together in Healdton and remained in the surrounding area.
They moved to Tussy in 1950, Ratliff City in 1965 and to Ardmore in 1991. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed cooking, playing cards, going to horse races and spending time with her family. Mrs. Shrader was of Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Chester L. (Chick) Shrader, son Richard Keene Shrader , brother Allen Moore and sister Reba Wigham.
She is survived by a son Michael (Mickey) Shrader of Houston, Texas, sister Polly Moore of Dallas, Texas, grandson, Stephen Shrader of Phoenix, Ariz., and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carry Davis, Mike Dunn, Joey Tayar, Carl Pevehouse, Joe (Nub) Sullivan and Kenneth Griffin.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
