Menoken Farmer Dies Wednesday

Delbert J. Warren, 78, retired Menoken farmer, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin Hansen, four miles south of Bismarck, Wednesday afternoon. He had been ill since 1948.

Mr. Warren was born in Quincy, Mich., Oct. 14, 1872, where he attended schools and in 1900 married Myrna Clizbe. A year later he and Mrs. Warren moved to a farm north of Menoken and lived there until 1936. They then retired to Bismarck. Mrs. Warren died in January this year.

Besides Mrs. Hansen, Mr. Warren leaves a son, Wayne, in Minneapolis, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. S. E. Clizbe, of Mount Vernon, Wash. One daughter preceded him in death.

The body is at Boelter funeral home.

Warren Funeral Set for Monday

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Boelter funeral chapel for Delbert J. Warren, 78, Menoken farmer, who died at the home of his daughter Wednesday.

The Rev. Francis V. Tannehill will officiate. Pallbearers are Floyd Owen, Willem Davenport, Knoley Dorman, Walter Yeakle, Glenn Baker and Park Wood. Burial will be in Menoken.

Among those he leaves are three grandchildren, Delbert, Douglas and Doris Jean Warren of Bismarck.
