RIPLEY - Louise Elizabeth Elliott Bryant, 89, formerly of Ashland, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Tippah County Hospital Nursing Home in Ripley. She was born Sept. 28, 1922, to Thomas Elijah Elliott and Emma Jordan Elliott. Mrs. Bryant was a Baptist and a housewife.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rusty Miller and Bro. Edd McCafferty officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Maxine Bryant Hurt and Anielene Bryant Brissette (Richard), all of Ripley; one son, Thomas Milton Bryant (Becky) of Holly Springs; six grandchildren, Carol Anne Hurt, David Hurt (Jade), Andrea Martindale (Brandon) and Anna Malone, all of Ripley, Beth Bryant of Olive Branch and Jeff Bryant of Tuscaloosa; five great-grandchildren, Allison Hurt, Rachel Martindale, Elizabeth Martindale and Ethan Davis, all of Ripley, and Berkeley Bryant of Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers will be W.T. Elliott, Brandon Martindale, Jeff Bryant, David Hurt, Craig Forsythe and Roger Elliott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Clifford Bryant; two sisters, Juanita Ausburn and Ineva Agee; and three brothers, James, Edison and Marion Elliott.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at Ripley Funeral Home.
