Joyce Aloma Mueller 89 of Marion, previously from Stamford passed away Saturday, October 30 in New Braunfels. Family will receive guests from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 2 in the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 Wednesday, November 3 in Trinity Church with Dr. Robert Wingrove officiating with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home.
Joyce was born June 29, 1932 in Haskell County, Texas to the late William A. and Lillie A. (Turner) Roberts. She married Emil Mueller August 11, 1948 in Haskell County. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1992.
She was an active member of the Garden Club and The Eastern Star. She attended Trinity Church and lived in Jones and Haskell counties until moving to New Braunfels in 2008. Joyce enjoyed going to Church, studying the Bible and playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Melvin Mueller, and son-in-law Johnny Hilliard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Joy Hilliard of Hamlin; sons Don Mueller of Marion, TX, Kenneth and wife Susan Mueller of Stonewall, TX, and Ernest and wife Tammy Mueller of New Braunfels, TX; daughter-in-law Patty Mueller of Stamford; Sister Delores and husband Raymond Culber of Abilene; grandchildren Jared, Jake, Justin, Lyna, Eric, Jessica, Emily, Josh, Casey, Coby, Kristin and Nathan; 19 great-grandchildren with on the way; and 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons.
