Bowman - Mrs. Simmie Shuler Bozard, 95, widow of Adolphus F. Bozard, died Saturday at an Orangeburg hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bowman Southern Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Shiloh Methodist Cemetery, directed by the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Mrs. Bozard was born in Bowman, a daughter of the late Lewis Hayne and Rebecca Dantzler Shuler. Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Reba B. Smith of Savannah, Ga.; a son, Rudolph Bozard of Orangeburg; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Betty S. Bozard of Bowman; a brother, Samuel P. Shuler of Bowman; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 2 Jan 1972
