Thomas E. Brosius, 51, Millcreek, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Saint Vincent Health Center.
He was born Nov. 25, 1948, in Rome, Ga., son of Elizabeth Wayland Brosius of Erie and the late Donald Brosius. He had lived in the Erie area most of his life.
He had been a U.S. Navy Reserve veteran serving during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Belmont in the Mediterranean. He worked for American Meter Co. for more than 30 years. He was an avid gardener.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sandra L. Fitzgerald Brosius; two sons, Shawn T. Brosius of Erie and Ryan S. Brosius and his wife Kory, of Erie; a brother, Tim E. Brosius and his wife Mary, of Erie; and three nieces and a nephew.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service there Wednesday at 1 p.m. conducted by Karen A. Gray-Woodring, pastor, State Line United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery with fill military honors.
