He married Betty Kunde on June 1, 1962 in Winneconne. Ron and Betty made their home in the Town of Winneconne where Ron farmed until 1988. Ron had also been employed at Badger Concrete, Kimberly Clark, Arrowhead Conveyor, and Wal-Mart. Ron enjoyed deer hunting, photography and woodworking.
He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Winneconne where he had served as an usher and was a member of St. Paul's Dart Ball Team #1.
Ron is survived by his wife, one son, one daughter and son-in-law, one granddaughter, his brother and sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Patricia Kunde.
A Funeral Service were held at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winneconne, with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Cremation followed the Service.
