After many months of suffering
with consumption Mrs. Alice McDonald
died at her home near the Wabash
county line Friday. The remains
were brought to this city and
the funeral was held at the M. E.
church Sunday afternoon. The burial
was at Woodlawn.
Alice L. Calhoun was born in 1862
and died December 19, 1902 in the
fortieth year of her age. She was
married to James McDonald in 1884,
Her husband, two daughters, three
sisters, and one brother still survive.
Several years ago she united with the
Wesleyan Methodist church of which
she has evur since been a member.
