She was an old fashioned mother, who lived for others, giving her life to make others happy and to make this a better world in which to live. She was converted early in life, in the camp meeting days in Alabama and united with the Methodist Church and lived a consistent Christian life to the day of her death.
In 1875, she married W.W. Williams. To this union, nine children were born. One child preceded her in death
