He was a welder for the C & O Railroad both in Walbridge and Kentucky.
Allen is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, Allen Curnutte and Betty Ann (David) England; seven grandchildren, and sisters, Henrietta Harrison and Lois Gue.
His daughter, Martha Mangus preceded him in death.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge (419-666-3121), where services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
