Born in Clayton County, Mr Stephens lived in Atlanta 30 years. He was a machinist.
Funeral plans will be announced by J Austin Dillon Co.
Survivors include his wife, the former Beulah Lee Milam; two sons, Raleigh Tillman Stephens Sr, Decatur, and Charles H Stephens, Atlanta; a brother, S S Stephens, Morrow, and a sister, Mrs Minnie Burks, Cullman AL.
