Edward and Calista were married on March 2, 1835 at Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire church in St-Hyacinthe in Quebec.

Edward and his wife immigrated from Canada to Vermont in the early 1800s.

Special thanks to researcher Pierre Lagace who found the Canadian marriage record for Edward and Calista. Names listed as Edouard Villeneuve & Collette Aveline.

Calista's baptismal record show birth name as Scholastique St-Jules. Scholastique is a derivative of Collette. Calista is a translation from Colette. The Aveline family was also the St-Jude or St Jules family. These various family names have been found on some of her children's birth/marriage/death records.

Calista was baptimized and married at Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire church in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec.

Children: Calista, James Edward, Edwina, Edna, Jude, Joseph, Saraphine, Sidney, Adelia, Moses William, Mary, Fredrick A., Warren, Austin Harvey.
Son: Jude's Service Record: Enlisted as a Private on 11 September 1862 at the age of 18.
Enlisted in Company G, 13th Infantry Regiment Vermont on 10 Oct 1862.
Killed Company G, 13th Infantry Regiment Vermont on 3 Jul 1863 at Gettysburg, PA. Burial spot unknown.
