After the death of Susannah, Thomas married Emily Hildreth 11 Sep 1853 in Jones Co., Iowa. Their children: George E. Sinkey, Ellen (Mrs. Fred) Johnson, Lucy A. (Mrs. John) Bayliff, Richard Hollister Sinkey, Martin Luther Sinkey, and Caroline Frances Sinkey (Mrs. W.F. Judiesch).
