Duaine Armo Boehme, our dear hus­band, father, brother and grandpa, passed away on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, due to complications from ankle surgery. He was born on Dec. 6, 1952, in Montpelier, Idaho.

Duaine is survived by his wife, Carol Bessie Hansen Boehme; two sons, Michael Boehme (Brandi) of Hyrum and Jason Boehme of Lewiston; and two grandchildren, Braxton and Kayden. Surviving brothers and sisters are David and Sherry Boehme of Panaca, Nev.; Barbara Boehme of Logan; Allan and Geri Boehme of Wellsville; Stephen and Odee Boehme of Riverton; Kenneth and Peggy of Hyrum; Richard and Annette Osterlin of Logan; Robert and Ruth Boehme of Wellsville; and Rodney and Dorothy Boehme of Millville. He had 105 nieces and nephews.

Duaine was a kind and loving father and husband, always happy and enjoyable to be around. Duaine, who had lived most of his married life in Millville, recently moved to Lewiston. He worked at Lower's Food for many years. He loved to hunt and fish and spent most of his time outdoors. He had a big heart and will be missed greatly. Duaine loved spending time with his family and his door was open to anyone and everyone. He always had a smile on his face. He loved to teach his grandchildren and he never ran out of patience.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Glenna Boehme, a brother, William Joel, and a sister, Carol.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. The funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at the Allen-Hall Mor­tuary. There will be a view­ing prior to the funeral from 10:30 to 11 :30 Thursday at the mortuary. Duaine will be laid to rest in the Logan City Cemetery.
