"Explosion Burns Fatal to Lamoni, Iowa, Man Here"
Burn suffered Dec. 16 in the explosion of a can of kerosene which he was using to start a fire, caused the death Tuesday morning in the Missouri Methodist Hospital of Weedle (Webie) E. Vanderflute, 36 year old, a farmer of Lamoni, Iowa.
The deceased is survived by son, Gerald Vanderflute, Lamoni;
a daughter, Miss Margeret Vanderflute, Lamoni;
his father, W. A. Vanderflute, Lamoni;
and seven brothers, Clarence, Glen and Raymond Vanderflute, Osceola, Iowa, George, Leo, and Ernest Vanderflute, Chicago.
The body is at Meierhoffer's mortuary and will be taken to Lamoni for burial.
