Truette J. "Frog" Justus, 73, of Clayton, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Rabun County to Estus and Mary Elizabeth English Justus. He worked in the timber industry and attended Battle Branch Baptist Church. He was the last member of his immediate family.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: his wife, Judy Watts Justus of Clayton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Rickey McCrackin and Kristy and Wayne Ramey, all of Clayton; two grandchildren, Justin McCrackin and Isaac Snider, both of Clayton; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services were held Friday at Battle Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe McCrackin and Larry Cannon officiating. Graveside services followed at Persimmon Cemetery with Lloyd Hunter officiating.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
