Uncle Of Circuit Judge Langston Dies; Aged 74
Prentiss, Feb.1, Funeral services conducted by the Rev. B. E. Phillips, New Hebron pastor, were held for William Langston at Society Hill church, south of Prentiss. Burial was made in the Society Hill cemetery. Mr. Langston was 74 years of age and was born and reared in the Sons Academy community in Jefferson Davis county.

He was an uncle of J. Q. Langston, circuit judge of this Judicial District. Surviving are his widow, his children, Archie Langston and Mrs. Herston Williamson Oakvale, Mrs. Reese Polk, Louisiana; two other daughters residing at Winnsboro, La., Mrs. E. R. Williamson of Arkansas;and brothers; Webb Langston, Clinton; George Langston, White Bluff; Jesse Langston, D. N. Langston, Oakvale; one sister, Mrs. Walter Bourn, Oakvale.
