Mrs. Himebaugh was a member of the First Methodist church and the president of the General Aid Society and the Federation of Women's Club.She was the president of the Centennial Club till its disbanding. She was a member of the S.F. club and Four O'Clock club. She was married to John Himebaugh for 17 years.
Georgie was 44 years of age when she died. She had been gravely ill for 11 weeks and lived in Los Angeles, Ca. in an attempt to be cured by surgery and other treatments. She suffered from Inflamatory Rheumatism and died in the Spaulding Hotel, south west corner of Tejon St. and Cucharras St.The cause of death was stated as sarcoma. She had been a resident of Colorado Springs for 23 years. She was survived by her mother, Louisa Craig of Grundy Co., Mo.; John Himebaugh; two children, Carl (15)and Edith (8); two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Boyle of 614 east Pikes Peak Ave. and Mrs. Martha Ashby of Trenton, Mo.
