"In the early 1840'S John Dyer and his family moved to Dekalb County, Tenn and settled on Mine Lick Creek. In recent years the Dyer family cemetery there was taken up and moved to make way for the Center Hill Lake (Dam waters). It was identified as Cemetery #55. The cemetery was located behind the home of Millie Luven?? ....Millie's home was on a portion of her father's farm, she also had possession of the family records and pictures that were in the family trunk until she died. The graves are now located in the Mt. Holley Cemetery in Plot #55. There were 14 graves moved that were unidentified."
