Foster Carlos Gardner, age 90, passed away Feb. 13, 2002, in Sandy, Utah. He was born June 26, 1911, in Levan, Utah, to Richard Henry and Mary Eliza Mangelson Gardner. He married Frances J. Nielsen Aug. 26, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away July 13, 1996.

His honesty and hard work led to his success in business and life.

He is survived by his children, Koye (Keo) Sorenson of Murray, Gwen (Glen) Adamson, and Carl (DiAnn) Gardner, all of Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Grant Gardner. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances; his parents; two sisters, Esther and Norma; four brothers, Elgin, Charles, Russell and Merlin Gardner.

Funeral services were held Feb. 16, 2002, at Goff Mortuary, Midvale. A viewing was held at the Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi, Utah, prior to interment in the Levan Cemetery, Levan, Utah.
