She spent her growing up years in Round Valley, living on the family ranch, where she helped her father with the various duties associated with ranch life during the early 20th century. She attended the one room school house in Round Valley for her first seven years of schooling.
She finished her secondary education in Laketown, then attended Brigham Young College in Logan, She continued her education at Utah State Agricultural College and later finished the work for a degree in Education at Utah State University. She began teaching at an early age and continued in the education field for about 38 years. She began teaching in Laketown while she lived in Round Valley. She also taught in Montpelier & Cokeville then taught in Laketown until her retirement. She always stressed education & learning to her students and family.
Norma enjoyed reading & good music and sang in the Laketown Ward choir. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding many positions during her lifetime.
She is survived by three sons: Cardon, McKay, Clark. Elijah & their son Reed preceded her in death. She has 19 grandchildren & 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gifford Weston, a sister, Edith Early, two great grandchildren.
Services for Norma will be held in the Laketown Ward Chapel Saturday, December 4th at 11 AM. Family members will be available to visit from 10 until 10:45 AM. Interment will be at the Laketown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Sunshine Terrace Adult Day Care Center, 209 West 300 North, Logan, Utah 84321. Funeral directors are Allen-Hall Mortuary.

They also recognize and deeply appreciate the care provided to Norma by the many home helpers who assisted her as well as enriched her life through music, reading scriptures and books to her daily.
