Visitation will be Wedneday, August 19, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle, NC. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Charlotte, NC
She is survived by stepsons Roger H. Hice and wife Pat of Charlotte, James Mike High of Denver,NC, great granddaughter, Brooke Hice, stepdaughter, Donna Hamilton of Davidson, NC, nephew, Tommy Simpson and wife Patsy of N. Myrtle Beach, SC., niece, Vicky Smith of Charlotte, NC,18 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Hice, husband, James Haines High, grandson, David H. Hice, mother and father, Marshall Benton Edwards and Mary Louise Hathcock Edwards, 8 brothers and sisters.
