Baptized April 21, 1771, son of Thomas Emmons and Huldah Cone.
Nathaniel was a farmer, in the Millington Society, East Haddam. He died by hanging himself. From the Genealogy of the Brainerd - Brainard Family in America by Lucy Abigail Brainard, 1908, page 71
In this same book it mentions that Nathaniel married a Dorothy Brainerd, but that may be incorrect, as a Dorothy Brainerd married a Joseph Emmons, and both are buried in the First Church Cem, East Haddam CT.
