Moses A. Barker.

Resolutions on the death of Moses A. Barker, Dec. 2nd. 1909, adopted by the Motley Lodge No. 634, A.F. & A.M.
Whereas, it has pleased our Heavenly Father to remove from our midst by death our beloved brother, Moses A. Barker, therefore be it.
Resolved, 1st, That we feel a keen sense of sorrow in the loss of one so well beloved and that our order has lost a most consecrated member who was held in the highest esteem.
2nd, That we thank our Heavenly father for his Christian life and faithfulness to our order and while we are loath to part from him we bow in humble submission to the will of him who doeth all things well.
3rd, That we extend to the bereaved family our deepest sympathy in their hour of sorrow and pray, that an abundance of God's sustaining grace may abide with them.
4, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of our Lodge, published in "The LaFayette Sun" and a copy sent to the bereaved family.
