Funeral services for Neva Dean Hittson Patty, 53, of Green Forest, AR were held on Monday at the Green Forest Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Spurgin and the Rev. Dean Smith officating. Interment was in the Pickens Cemetery under the direction of the Nelson Funeral Service.
Neva Dean Hittson Patty was born September 20, 1929, at Rudd, AR a daughter of William Robert and Willie Mack (Smith) Fultz. She departed this life on June 3, 1983, at Green Forest, AR.
She was a member of the Green Forest Baptist Church. She was the Director of the Green Forest Child Development Center and she had also worked for the past 11 years as a receptionist during visitation hours at the Nelson Funeral Chapel in Green Forest.
Neva Dean Hittson Patty was united in marriage with W. S. Hittson and six children were born to their union. Her husband and one daughter, Sonja Lou, had preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Robert Fultz. She was later united in marriage with Edward Patty, who survives her.
Survivors included her husband, Edward Patty, of the home; one son, Wyatte Hittson, of Green Forest; four daughters, Grace Marshall, Nancy Smith and Debby Bailey all of Green Forest and Darlene Harwood of Harrison; two step-sons Greg and Kent Patty of Berryville; two step-daughters, Laurel and Deneen Patty, both of Berryville; two brothers, Arvil Fultz of Rudd and Otis Fultz of Slatz, OR; two sisters, Ellie Griffith of Greenfield, CA and Beatrice Hasty of Covina, CA; eight grandchildren, Misti McClain; Kent Bonham; Kevin Smith; Alicia Harwood; Kassandra Harwood; Jeff Bailey; Sorena Bailey; several other relatives and a host of friends.
