Pauline Hillhouse was born 1924 to William & Nora (Roark) Hillhouse in Camden County, Missouri. She married Andy Bookhout, son of Frank & Mary (Sullivan) Bookhout in 1946 after he had returned from World War II, and they had a daughter in 1947. The family eventually moved to Orange County, California where both Andy and Pauline died and are buried.
