Mrs. Erbach, 90, Died in Seattle Home
Mrs. Carl Erbach, nee Miss Katie Kausmann, aged 90, formerly of New Holstein, died Friday at her home in Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Erbach was born in Germantown, Wis., Dec 24, 1845, and was married to Juergen Sebelien in 1864. The couple went to New Holstein and conducted the Sebelien Furniture store on Wisconsin Avenue. Mr. Sebelien died in New Holstein March, 1875. In 1881 Mrs. Erbach was married to Carl Erbach who preceded her in death in March, 1915. Following her husband's death, Mrs. Erach went to Schiocton where she remained with a brother for two years. Following her short residence in Schiocton, Mrs. Erbach lived for two years in Sacramento. Calif., and ever since 1919 she has made her home in Seattle, Wash.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Erbe Hoffmann Funeral home in New Holstein. The Rev. A. G. Schmid will officiate, and interment will be made in the New Holstein city cemetery.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Dora Holst of Seattle, Wash., who will accompany the body to New Holstein; one son, William Sebelien of Seattle, Wash.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Fred Borman of New Holstein and Miss Martha Sell of Madison; and three step-sons, Carl Erbach of McHenry, N. D.; Herman Erbach of New Holstein, and two grandchildren.
