Vivian J. Eaton, 79, Brownsburg, died February 22 in Indianapolis. She was born July 22, 1914 in Cartersburg to Bruce and Lula J. (Weddle) Jackson and was married to Kellar Eaton in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1981. She worked as a secretary to the principal at Northwest High School for 11 years, from 1961 to 1972, retiring in 1972. Prior to that she worked as a secretary at Allisons. Mrs. Eaton was a member of the Speedway Baptist Church and Brownsburg Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Ronald Eaton of Cedar Falls, Iowa; daughter, Dana Miller of Speedway; sister, Helen Roberts of Speedway; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted February 24 at Matthews Mortuary with Larry Hamm officiating. Burial was in Brownsburg Cemetery.
