Deceased was left an orphan early in life. His father, Milton Carnes, having died 56 years ago. Bro. A very large audience was present as evidence of the high esteem in which he was held. At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13th, 1922, the earthly remains of Bro. W.R. Carnes was laid to rest in freedom Cemetery to await the coming of the Lord. Until then, farewell. ..Brotherly J.C. Thompson
