Abby was born in Braidwood,Kankakee, IL. She died in Wallace, Wallace, KS age 68 of senility and influenza. She is buried with her husband at the Wallace Cemetery, Ft. Wallace, Wallace County, KS. She married James Mathew Healey 1876 in Kit Carson, CO. They moved to Wallace and ran a grocery store for awhile. In 1884 they moved to a farm on Lake Creek, 11 miles NE of Wallace. He worked at a Billiard Hall. They had 11 children all born in Wallace, KS: 1) Mary Frances b. 9-20-2878, 2) John James b. 12-9-1879, 3) Henry Nicolas (Bert) b. 2-11-188,2 4)Emilie Veronica b. 11-29-1887, 5) Mark Leonard b. 10-17-1884, 6) Josephine (Josie)LaVerna b.2-12-1889, 7) Laura Blanche b. 10-18-1890, 8) Leo Edward b. 4-27-1892, 9) Francis Aloysius b. 12-9-1893, 10) Evangeline Leona b. 5-29-1896, and, 11) Beulah Viola Katherine b. 10-2-1898.
