Cooper Review- January, 1982- Helen Jane Bruce, age 37, of Mesquite passed away at 10:00AM Friday, December 25, at Brookhaven Health Center in Farmers Branch. funeral services were held at 2PM Monday, December 28, at the W.Y. Goff Funeral Home in Commerce, with rev. Tim Mabe officiating. Internment was made in shiloh Cemetery in Delta County. Ms Bruce was born March 30 in Cooper , a daughter of Curtis B. Bruce and Mildred Stone. She attended public school in Paris and was graduated from Paris High School. She had been employed by Braniff International for the past 13 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mildred Bruce of Mesquite and one sister, Mrs. Sue Eason of Mesquite. Pallbearers were Carlton Martin, Glenn Stone, Roger Stone, Gary Hendrix, Harold Hoskinson and George Foster.
