Mrs. Faison was a native of Winton, N.C. She was the widow of Alfred Dewey Faison Sr. and a member of Ocean View Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Gene F. Boyd of Norfolk and Suzanne Gwaltney of Guanajuato, Mexico; two sons, Alfred D. Faison Jr. and Donald T. Faison, both of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 1841 Windy Ridge Point, Virginia Beach, after the service. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements
