William Winnie Fox of Pauls Valley was born December 11, 1901, in Wynnewood to Joseph C & Margret Ann Fox. He passed away Saturday, April 12, 1997, in Pauls Valley at the age of 95 years old.

He was a lifelong resident of Garvin county. He attended school in the Horseshoe Corner area. He was a farmer and carpenter and enjoyed working with his cattle most of all.

He was a member of the Pauls Valley Church of Christ and loved to visit and care for those who were ill. He was an honest, good and decent man.

Survivors are one son and one daughter; three step-daughters; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Flora Mae (Brewster), his second wife, who is Myrtie, one son William Edward Fox, two brothers Luther and Tipton Fox, three sisters: Ethel Chisholm, Ava Goodson and Viola Hargis.

Funeral services were April 15, 1997 at 2 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with John Curtis officiating.
