Florence F. Mealy, age 91, of Fulton, Missouridied Wednesday, October 27, 2008 at the Presbyterian Manor in Fulton.
She was born June 23, 1917, in Steedman, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Golda (Garriott) Farley. She married Floyd Mealy on November 20, 1937 and he preceeded her in death in 1990.
She is survived by a son, Delbert (Barbara) Mealy of Holts Summit,Missouri; a daughter, Janett (Walter) Miller of Mokane, Missouri; one brother, Nobel Wilson Farley of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Rhonda (Dale) Tate of Fulton, Missouri, Randy (Karen) Miller of Ashland, Missouri, Roger (Sharon) Miller of Mokane, Missouri, Robert (Annette) Miller of Steedman, Missouri, and Lois (Chris) Gutierrez of Kansas City, Missouri; seventeen great-grandchildren, Teresa (Ryan) Arrowood, Crystal (Brad) Laughlin, Kyle Miller, Kara Miller, David Miller, Kevin Miller, Tonya Miller, Ashley Miller, Alaney Grace Miller, Bradley Miller, Stacy Miller, Trevor Miller, Grace Miller, Madison Gutierrez of Kansas City, Missouri, Karissa Autenrieth of Independence, Missouri, Brooke Davis of St. Louis, Missouri and Hollie Davis of Columbia,Missouri; three great-great-grandchildren, Konner Arrowood, Reagan Arrowood and Braydon Laughlin.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband of fifty-three years, Floyd; one grandchild, Lisa Davis-Clack; four brothers and three sisters.
Florence was an employee of the Fulton State Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Steedman United Methodist Church and the Steedman Women's Sunshine Club and a member of OES. Florence was a leader for the 4H Club and also enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting and traveling.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, October 25, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Clyde Garriott officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Family will recieve friends on Friday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill Cemetary in Portlad or to the Steedman Methodist Church.
