William E. Freer Dies at His Home Near Galesburg.
GALESBURG, Mich., April 23.-(Special)—William E., usually known as Edwin Freer, died at his home, southwest of this village, in Comstock township, on Saturday afternoon. The deceased came to Michigan with his parents 63 years ago and has been a resident since that period. He was in his 67th year. Mrs. Freer, who survives, was Mrs. Frances Brown, a sister of F. T. Hanver of this village, it being her second marriage. The deceased leaves no children. Two brothers, Harvey of Pavilion township and John of this village, with two sisters, Mrs. M. M. Hamilton of Vicksburg and Mrs. M. V. Gardner of Mexico, survive. Kalamazoo Daily Telegraph April 23, 1900 page 2
