Heimbigner: ( b. 1870, d. 1948) "Funeral services were held at Spokane this morning for Mary C. Heimbigner, Chester, MT, and burial is being made in the Ritzville Cemetery. Mrs. Heimbigner was a pioneer Odessa resident, leaving here about 30 years ago with a group that were locating in Montana, where she continued to make her home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Billings, MT; and Mrs. Clara Widowfield, of Malt, MT; six sons, David C. Heimbigner of Odessa; Henry, Walter, Sam and Harry Heimbigner, all of Chester, MT; and Fred Heimbigner of Spokane; 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters and brothers, Mrs. Mary Manlig of Pasco; Mrs. Threse Lauritsen, of Portland; Mrs. Pauline Stokes, David and J. J. Schiffner, all of Spokane; Sam Schiffner of Prosser, and Abe Schiffner of Sacramento, CA." (Odessa Record: 8-26-1948, page 1)
