Rey Arnold Huber 1913 ~ 2006 KANOSH: Rey Arnold Huber, 92, passed away April 17, 2006 in Kanosh, UT. He was born Nov. 27 1913 in Mesa, AZ to Arnold Casper and Estella Eleanor Francom Huber. Served a Mission for the LDS Church in the Swiss/Germany Mission from 1932-1935. Returned home and continued his education at Arizona State University graduating with a BA in Education. He married Ina McNeil in the Mesa Arizona Temple on August 1, 1937. He played basketball for Arizona State and was the coach of several LDS Church basketball teams that were tournament champions. Active in the Boys Scouts of America and served in several LDS Bishoprics. He was an accomplished farmer and dairyman while in Mesa. In 1964 he moved to Kanosh, UT and continued farming. He and Ina served an LDS Mission in El Salvador from 1977-1979. He is survived by children, Carol Rae Penney, Fillmore, UT; Cheri Dee (A. Dean) Perkins, Kanosh, UT; Max Henry (Marilyn) Huber, Orem, UT; Gayle Ann (Jeffrey G.) Whatcott, Holden, UT; Rey Arnold (Cynthia) Huber II, Delta, UT; 23 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lowell Huber, sisters, Daisy Eleanor Jones, Pearl Elizabeth Haws, Eva Estella Johnson, Esther Louise Miller, Emma Lucile Lee. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kanosh LDS Chapel. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment in the Kanosh Cemetery.
