Joseph Chandler, son of Deacon John & Elizabeth (Dougles) Chandler, was born in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts 3 April, 1667; died in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts 29 September 1668 aged 18 months.

Joseph, b. 3 April 1667; d. and was buried in the Eliot Yard on Eustis Street, Roxbury, Mass., and the slate-stone monument, about seven inches wide by twelve high, standing (1872) by that of his brother John and sister Hannah, is inscribed: Joseph Chandler; Aged 18M Dyed: 29D:7M:1668 (29 September 1668)
