Verna Bowie Worrell, 98, of Ackerman died March 26, 2005, at Choctaw County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Worrell, a homemaker, was born Sept. 17, 1906, in McCool. She was a member of Ackerman Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Quinn Smith of Greenwood; and a grandchild, Quinn Smith of Madison.
Services were March 29 at Ackerman Baptist Church with burial in Enon Cemetery. The Revs. Barry Worrell and Danny Irvin officiated.
