The people of this community grieved Saturday night when they heard of the death of Royce Alexander, who died with typho-pneumonia. He had been ill only a short length of time, and was only 37 years of age at the time of his death. He left to mourn for him, his widow and three small children, his parents, and three sisters. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, by Rev. R.O. Bazer
of Shreveport, and burial was made at the family cemetery near Minden, with E.C. Butler of Minden, in charge of the burial service.
