Alfred William Affantranger, 61, died Sunday at Humana Hospital-Suburban. He was a native of Nemacolin, Pa., and a retired chiropractor. He was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: his wife, the former Virginia Johnson; two sons, Alfred C. Affantranger of New Mexico and Michael B. Affantranger; his parents, Alfred C. and Mildred Affantranger of Clarksville, Ind.; a sister Shirley M. Honsaker of Clarksville; and a grandchild. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Arch L. Heady Westport Road Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road, with cremation to follow. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy: National Kidney Foundation or charity.
