LEIGHTON -- The funeral for Mrs. Ruby Lee Boyd, 66, Route 3, will be at 1 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home chapel, Sheffield, with Tim Gentle and Clabron Smith officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
She died Sunday, April 19, 1987, at Humana Hospital Shoals, Muscle Shoals.
A native of Colbert County, she was a homemaker and a member of Spring Valley Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Everett H. Boyd, Leighton; sons, Shelton Boyd, Florence, Gary Boyd, Leighton; daughter, Martha Sue Foster, Leighton; mother, Mrs. Minnie Jeffreys, Leighton; sister, Mrs. Reba Crosswhite, Leighton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be James Crosswhite, John Crosswhite, Milton Smithson, Johnny Smithson, Jack Boyd and Jerry Boyd.
