Dear wife of the late Bruce Campbell; dear mother of Carolyn (Mick) Kribben, Paul Scott (Sarajane) Campbell, Don (Tracy) Campbell and the late Judy (Brooks) Sharp; dear sister of Kate (Emil) Bargfrede; dear grandmother of Margie Jackson, Eric Heidelbaugh, Kathi Hughes, Shari Jorden, Steve Dippold, Jill Campbell and Jeffrey Campbell; dear aunt of Amy Bargfrede Shearon, Janice Campbell White, Dean Campbell, Karin Eckvall and Lisa Eckvall; dear great-grandmother of seven. Evelyn was born in Huntsville, MO in 1917.
She graduated from Wyandotte High School with Honors and received a scholarship to college. She married Bruce Campbell in 1937 and devoted herself to home and children. Evelyn helped others as a volunteer teacher, seamstress, and upholsterer. She spent the last twenty years in Bradenton, FL where she continued her volunteer work and helping others. She remained active with her hobbies of bridge, playing the organ, knitting and sewing.
Evelyn will be missed by all of her family and friends who loved her dearly.
Services: Visitation Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at KRIEGSHAUSER WEST MORTUARY, 9450 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO with a brief ceremony at 11:00 a.m. followed by Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Campbell Montessori School, 3880 Shady Springs Lane, St. Peters, MO 63301.
