Due to the fact that Dr. Tom P. Howell, a brother-in-law of Mr. Wright, later donated land in this general location for use as a cemetery to the people of the community of Oak Ridge, I think it's reasonable that Mr. Wright's burial may have been the beginning of Oak Ridge Cemetery.
He was the son of Claiborne & Harriet Hannah Brown Wright, and the brother of John Claiborne Wright. Chester and John married sisters, Mary C. and Arabella Pitchlynn Howell.
