Funeral services for Joseph C. Duncan will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Apostolic church. The Rev. W.W. Arrowood will be in charge. Mr. Duncan was born in Pulaski county in 1879 and died Friday. Mrs. Duncan preceded him in death on June 30, 1939. Surviving are 10 children: Mrs. R.E. Linkous, of Polar Hill: Mrs. K.C. Thompson, of Marietta, GA; Mrs. C.C. Thompson, of Filbert, WV; William, Lefew, Thomas, Woodrow, George, Mary and Julia Duncan of Pulaski; a brother, C.L. Duncan, and a sister, Mrs. W.L. Asper. Pallbearers will be Oscar Manuel, W.H. Fagg, G.T. Austin. W.N. Aust, Harley Sutphin and J.C. Fagg. Burial will be in the Dora cemetery.
