Nancy M. Robertson she was born to John Robertson and Keziah Briggs Robertson. Nancy married Allen G. Biggs October 03, 1843 in Greene County, Missouri. To this union they had five known children: Napoleanna Biggs, Leonidas Adolphus Biggs, John R. Biggs, William White Biggs, and Mary Keziah "Kizzie" Biggs.

Allen G. Biggs, son of David Biggs, was a native of Robertson County, Tennessee and there received his education.

After growing up, he embarked in farming and stock-raising and continued this in his native county until 1836, when he sold out and moved to Greene County, Missouri , settling three miles west of Springfield.

He married October 3, 1843, Miss Nancy Robertson, daughter of John and Keziah (Briggs) Robertson, and five children were born to them: Napolia A, Leonidas A., John R., W. W. and Mary K Biggs.

By industry, Mr. Biggs became quite prosperous and owned 500 acres of land west of Springfield, near Nickols Junction.

He has now divided most of his property among his children, giving them all a good home, and although seventy-two years of age is enjoying comparatively good health.

He and his wife are members of the Christian Church and he has always contributed liberally of his means to build churches and support the Gospel.

Honorable and upright in every walk of life he is one of the county's best citizens and has assisted so far as able all meritorious causes.

In politics, his is an ardent supporter of the Democratic principles and was a strong Union man during the war.

He served as a soldier in the Home Guards, Missouri State Militia.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen G. Biggs, on October 3, 1893, celebrated their golden anniversary, having spent their entire married life thus far in Greene County, Missouri .

Mrs. Biggs Dead Mrs. Nancy Biggs died yesterday moring at her home three miles west of the city on the Nichols road. She leaves five children, L. A. Biggs, J. R. Biggs, W. W. Biggs, Mrs. Wilson Fulbright and Mrs. John De Baun. Mrs. Biggs was 78 years old and was born in Robbertson county, Tennessee. With her father, John Robbertson, she came to Greene county in 1831, and in 1842 was married to A.G. Biggs, who died about eight years ago. The funeral service will be held at the family home Sunday.
