Larry Clinton Woodard passed away on Monday, August 10th, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia. He was born in Swainsboro, Ga., on 4/12/52. Larry's last ride was at Freddie Blitch's Farm. He was good with horses, cows, dogs and some people. Larry had one boot planted in Texas and one boot in Georgia, with family and friends on both ends. He was preceded in death by parents, O.C. and Dot Martin Woodard.
Surviving are daughter, Ericka Kinkade and husband, Jason and their children, Kolby and Kailey of Corsicana, Texas; daughter, Courtney Livingston and her son, Zander of Savannah, Ga.; son, Wade Woodard of Buffalo, N.Y.; sister, Linda Loveless and husband, Gary; brother, Danny Woodard and wife, Allie; sister, Carol Southwell and husband, William, all of Statesboro; nephews: Clint Akins, Carl Akins, & Trip Moses and nieces: Stacey Woodard, Ashley Woodard and Danielle Woodard. He is also survived by close friends, Travis Smith, Dewayne Carpenter and Tammie McWhorter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, Ga. 30459, who Larry always described as angels.
