Mrs. C.P. Ogden of Narcise Creek died July 26, aged 51 years. She was born near Auburn, Indiana, March 16, 1857, her maiden name being Sarah Olive Simon. She was married to C.P. Ogden at LaOtto, Indiana, in 1876, and was the mother of five sons and two daughter, the husband, four sons and one daughter surviving her. She joined the M.E. church when 16years of age and remained a faithful member to the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.A. Sheldon at the new cemetery Monday afternoon, where interment was given the body.
