OBITUARY

George E. Apps of Cadillac died Saturday morning at his daughter's home in Cadillac. He was 84.

Mr. Apps was born May 26, 1899 in Berlin, Mich. He married Esther Warren in 1917. She died in 1964. He married Jessie Martin in 1965. She died in 1981.

He is survived by a son, Vernon of Cadillac; four daughters, Dorothy Worrall and Dora (Mrs. Lester) Jones of Greenville, Margaret Cosgrove of Harrison and Gladys (Mrs. Ronald) Powers of Cadillac; 10 step children, Eldora (Mrs. William) Outman of Lake City, Myrtle (Mrs. Dale) Herweyer of Lake City, Leola Musselman of Lake City, Janice (Mrs. William) Koopman of McBain; Carol (Mrs. Burton) Goodrich of Ravanna, Verga Durga of Cadillac, Donna Belle (Mrs. James) Lux of Lakeside, Ore., Jean (Mrs. Raymond) Merrifield of Mt. Pleasant, Arthur Martin of Ravenna and Rollin Martin of Lake City; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Service are 2 p.m. today in the Young Funeral Home in Lake City, Rev. Jerry D. Ulrich officiating. Burial will be in the Aetna Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the Michigan Heart Fund.
