Muriel M. Douville, 85, a resident at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center passed away there on Tuesday morning, August 11, 2009.
Muriel was born on August 19, 1923 in Marinette, Wisconsin a daughter of the late Clarence and Laura (LeBrun) Bertholdt.
On March 13, 1943 she was united in marriage to John Douville and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2001.
During World War II she was employed assembling gyroscopes and later was a proofreader for a publishing firm.
She enjoyed cooking and cross-stitch. Muriel was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Muriel is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Ilona Douville of Sheboygan; grandson, Mark Douville of Plymouth; granddaughters, Erika (Mike) Raab of Sheboygan, and Britt (Celso) Herrera of Sheboygan and great-grandchildren, Zachary Raab, Emily Raab, Anna Herrera and Austin Lorge.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Douville.
Private family services will be held with Sr. Marilyn Brood of St. Peter Claver Parish officiating. Entombment will take place in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
